Managing your sites

In short

My Sites, inside LinxyPass in the Linxy App, lists every site you have enrolled with. From there you can see what you have access to and remove access you no longer want. Your event passes live in the same area but are kept in their own section — passes and sites are different things and are never mixed together.

The thing to hold in your head is the shape of what you are managing. Access is not recorded per site; it is recorded per device, per site. Removing a site on your phone does not remove it from your tablet, and removing one site leaves every other site untouched. It is a grid, not a list, and forgetting that is how people end up believing a revocation did not work.

Where the list lives

Open the Linxy App, go to LinxyPass, then My Sites. Every site you have completed enrollment with appears there. A site you have requested but not yet finished enrolling with does not — the list is of finished bindings, not of intentions.

Per device, per site

This is the mental model that makes everything else make sense.

Site A Site B Site C Your phone Your tablet Old phone enrolled enrolled never enrolled never never still enrolled still enrolled never Each square is removed on its own. Tidying the top row leaves the bottom row exactly as it is.
The row that matters is the one you are not holding. Access lives in the squares, so a device you no longer use keeps every square it ever had until you deal with that device specifically.

What the list tells you

Each entry names the site and shows that your access there is live. The list is of that device’s bindings, so what you see on your phone is what your phone can do — not a summary of your account everywhere.

Removing a site

Removing a site ends the binding between this device and that site. It takes effect immediately and the site can no longer be signed into from that device.

What it does not do:

  • It does not remove your access from your other devices
  • It does not affect any other site
  • It does not delete your account at that site, or anything you have stored there
  • It does not tell the site to forget you — they may still list you among their enrolled people

Think of it as handing back a key rather than moving out.

Getting access back

Because the binding is gone rather than paused, coming back means enrolling again from the beginning, by whichever route that site uses (see Enrolling a site). On a site that reviews its members that means a new request, an approval and an email. There is no undo, and no quick re-link.

Do not remove a site to troubleshoot a sign-in problem. If a sign-in is misbehaving the cause is nearly always the attempt itself expiring or a number that did not match, and removing the site turns a two-minute annoyance into enrolling all over again — on a site that reviews its members, a wait for somebody there to approve you.

The badge on My Sites

A number on My Sites means there is something waiting for your attention. It stops counting at 9+ rather than showing a larger figure, so a badge reading 9+ means "at least nine", not "nine".

Passes are not sites

Event passes appear in this same part of the App but in their own section, deliberately separated from enrolled sites. They behave completely differently: a pass is spent by being scanned and can sometimes be handed to somebody else, whereas a site enrollment simply persists until you remove it.

If you are looking for a ticket, you want the passes section. If you are looking for somewhere you sign in, you want My Sites.

If you lose a device

A lost device keeps every binding it had until something is done about it, and you cannot remove those bindings from a different phone through My Sites — that screen only manages the device you are holding.

The right move is to deal with the device itself rather than with sites one at a time. See Your devices, which covers revoking a device wholesale, and Recovering your account after losing your device if you cannot get in at all.

Things people commonly get wrong

“Removing a site removes it everywhere.”It removes this device’s access only. Each device is separate.
“Removing and re-adding will fix a sign-in problem.”Re-adding means enrolling again, and on some sites an approval wait. Refresh the sign-in page first.
“Removing a site deletes my account there.”It only ends the sign-in binding. Your account and data at that site are untouched.
“I can clear a lost phone’s sites from this one.”My Sites manages the device you are holding. Revoke the device itself instead.
“My passes should be in this list.”Passes and sites are kept apart on purpose. They behave nothing alike.
