Your card’s short link and what it opens

In short

Every card has its own short link (Dynamic Link), such as 1of.me/yourname. It is printed on the card and set on the chip, and it is what a tap or a scan opens. You choose the name; you choose what it opens, and you can change what it opens at any time without reprinting.

Choosing the name

On the Back & link step, type the name you want after 1of.me/. Use 3 to 40 letters, numbers or dashes. The designer tells you right away whether the name is free. Once you order, the name is printed, so it no longer changes.

What the card can open

  • Your page: one of your Linxy bio or landing pages. This is the usual choice.
  • Connect with me: opens a request to start a Connection with you in the Linxy App.
  • Any link: your website, a booking calendar or anything else.

If you have not built your page yet, choose My Linxy page and set it up after you order. Until then the card opens the Linxy.Cards welcome page.

When your card becomes your page’s address

When you pay for a card that opens one of your pages, the card’s short link becomes that page’s own address. People who tap, scan or type the card’s link go straight to your page, and the page now shows that address too.

If your page already had an address you had shared, you choose whether to keep it working or retire it. See Keeping or retiring your old page address.
