In short
After the invitation goes out, you can plan messages that go to guests automatically — a thank-you to everyone coming, a nudge to guests who haven’t replied, directions the day before. Each guest gets each message once, by the best way to reach them: their Connection in the Linxy App, otherwise a text, and email only if there is nothing else. When guests answer, their replies come back to you privately. Messages are managed in the Linxy App, on the Occasion’s Messages tab.

Planning messages
The Plan lists your messages. For each one you choose who it goes to and when:

Who receives a message is decided when it goes out, so a guest who replies in the meantime gets the message that fits their answer. A suggested plan is ready to use, and it starts paused until you turn it on.
How each guest receives them

When guests reply
Replies arrive in the Inbox on the Messages tab, one conversation per guest. Guests can answer in their Connection in the Linxy App (the easiest way, and the one we encourage), on the web reply page, or by texting back. Replies to email aren’t collected — the email’s reply button opens the web reply page instead.
From any guest list you can tap a guest’s name to start a conversation.
Privacy
Conversations between you and a guest are private. They are never posted to the Occasion’s community, and other guests can’t see them.
