In short
You can keep any photo, video or file someone sends you in a conversation. Save photos and videos to your phone’s Photos, save any file to Files, or share it to another app. The copy is made on your phone; the message itself is not changed.

Saving to Photos
- Choose Save to Photos.
- The first time, your phone asks whether Linxy may add photos. Choose Allow.
- Linxy shows Saved to Photos. The photo or video is now in your phone’s Photos app.
Linxy asks only to add photos. It cannot see or read your photo library.
Saving to Files
Choose Save to Files, then pick where it goes:
- iPhone: the Save to Files screen opens. Choose a folder, such as On My iPhone or iCloud Drive, and tap Save.
- Android: your phone’s file picker opens. Choose a folder and tap Save.
Sharing to another app
Choose Share to open your phone’s share sheet, then pick an app, such as Mail, Messages or a cloud drive.
What saving means for privacy
Saving or sharing changes nothing about the message on Linxy’s servers. Your phone makes an ordinary copy outside Linxy. That copy follows the rules of wherever you put it: your Photos library, your Files, or the app you shared to.
